Heads-up: Burger King to open 1,000 restaurants in China

The Washington Post reports that Miami-based Burger King plans to open 1,000 restaurants in China over the next five to seven years. Currently, there are only 64 Burger King locations in China.

Could this be an opportunity for a digital menu board vendor doing business in the area? Some Burger King franchise groups have begun adopting digital menu boards, such as the 700+ SSP-franchised Burger Kings in the U.K.
