  1. Media in Canada has an article about Metro's "recipe kiosks". The new digital display kiosks are installed in select Metro grocery stores in Ontario. The kiosk was developed by St. Joseph Content. There's a 30-second video loop of a meal being prepared and users who have viewed the visual instructions can use the touch-screen display (called ShoptoCook software) to search for the recipe they just saw and print it out. You can also browse a database of an additional 3,000 preloaded recipes, organized by ingredient list, theme or health requirement. The software can also direct the shopper to which aisle they can find the ingredients in or scan the barcode of a product to find out how to use it in a meal.
